We are pleased to partner with a leading UK media organisation who are currently seeking an experience and adaptable Payroll Manager to join their team.As Payroll & People Services Manager, you will report into the Head of Payroll & People and will have three direct reports. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to: * Leading, motivating, and developing the payroll team * Overseeing a weekly & monthly payroll - ensuring colleagues are paid accurately and on time with a strong focus on customer service. * Managing the relationship with the payroll system provider * Acting as subject matter expert and point of escalation for the payroll team and the business. * Supporting the business with people related administration * Resolving system & process issues and identifying opportunities for improvement * Ensuring annual statutory payroll and benefit reporting requirements are met. * Experience required: * Extensive payroll knowledge- ideally experience of both weekly & monthly payrolls * Demonstratable people management experience within a payroll team * Able to build relationships with a range of stakeholders * Strong understanding of pensions and automatic enrolment requirements This role offers flexibility for hybrid working, as well as a car allowance and bonus scheme. The successful candidate will to be someone who is organised, resilient and fast paced with excellent payroll knowledge and attention to detail.As a Payroll Adminstrator, your responsibilities and duties include: * To process end to end payroll within a busy payroll team * Calculate and process all statuary deductions * Starters and Leavers * Deal with general payroll queries.
