My client is a Payroll practice in Liverpool. Based in a small but lively team you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Job title: Payroll Advisor Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 Job location: Liverpool Job type: Permanent Our client is a well-known and successful service provider that are looking for a new Payroll Advisor to join their team of 4 to help process their inhouse payroll of 3,500. This job will require you to provide guidance and advice on payslips issues, advice on HMRC issues such as tax, and auto-enrolling staff onto the pension. In addition to this, you will be distributing legislative documents and making third party reconciliations. This role is not end-to-end payroll, as the payroll is outsourced to ADP, then sent back, where you'll check the accuracy to ensure everything is good to go. Furthermore, you will be calculating statutory payments through Excel. They are looking for someone who has experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator with a strong understanding of legislation. Key Objectives * Most Senior on the team - need to have strong knowledge * Full end to end Payroll of 3000+ over 3 payrolls that are ran on monthly on the same day * EPS & SPS calculations * Deliver payroll, pensions and benefits within a large organisation. * Deliver monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits. * SMP, SSP, SPP. * P45, P60's P45's P11d and Year-End Process. * Processing of Pension from Start to End. * Dealing with Attachment of Earnings and other deductions. * Working closely with finance ensuring costings and under & over payments balance. * contribute to continuous improvement. * Support payroll systems projects and testing. * Analysis of periodic data. * Work with third party suppliers to ensure they are delivering a comprehensive service to colleagues. * Provide payroll advice and complex query resolution.
