We are working with a leading charity for are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join them on a fully remote basis They are looking for a self-starter who is looking to progress their career to assist processing a high volume monthly payroll. You will be a hard worker who is self-directed. Offering lots of training and CIPP study support. This will be initially a 12 month fixed term contract. * Oversee the payroll and benefits administration, acting as first point of contact for key stakeholders i.e. Regional HR and Finance teams and as well as People Planner team. * Provides payroll helpdesk to the HR teams particularly on sickness absences and sickness pay. * Liaise with key stakeholders and collate payroll changes, queries and anomalies in each regional office and validate those changes prior to submission to the payroll bureau. * Review and validate pending changes received from the payroll bureau. * Collate and distribute the monthly payroll reports to the key stakeholders in a timely manner. * Work with the outsourced payroll bureau to administer the monthly payroll within the specified deadlines. * Investigate and resolve payroll error and discrepancies as well as arrange emergency advance payments. * Support the Payroll Manager in the processing of the monthly changes on child care vouchers, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, pension, salary sacrifice and distribute P45's to leavers as well as any request for P60's. * In liaison with the Payroll Manager, ensure that the payroll processing comply with statutory legislation and obligations. * Manage payroll inbox and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate needs to deliver the highest standards of compliance and accuracy of data reporting.This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate with previous payroll and leadership experience who is ready for a new challenge and to take their career to the next level!Responsibilities * To oversee the payroll team and ensure the department runs smoothly. * Downloading employee data to Pegasus/Quantum system via bespoke interface. * Maintenance and creation of records for new starters and leavers. * Processing annual leave requests, pension auto enrolment via NEST, statutory payments, annual leave for hourly employees. * Processing bi-weekly hourly and monthly salaried payrolls run via Pegasus for UK employees. * Processing bi-weekly hourly and monthly salaried payrolls via Quantum for ROI employees. * Checking reports received back from Pegasus/Quantum. * Investigating payroll queries as required when directed by District Offices. * Processing correspondence for the Inland Revenue /Benefits Agency etc. * Upkeep of tidy and accessible archive record. * Keeping up to date with current legislation. * Maintaining company pension payment records. * Producing and maintaining records for HMRC and relating to Attachment of Earnings Order. * Ensuring the timely monthly payment to HMRC, Pensions and AEO deductions. * Preparing management reports and month end journal for Finance. * Preparation and reconciliation of annual returns to HMRC.Candidate Requirements. * Previous supervisory experience. * Strong payroll administration background. * CIPP qualified. * A neat, methodical, and professional approach to work. * Strong communication skills. * A team player who can think for themselves and work with minimal supervision. * Strong IT skills and experience of relevant software packages - Oracle, Pegasus, Quantum, Excel, Word. 969911LWINDPAYS

The role will lead on pension projects and support the related programmes of work and act as the formal deputy to the Pensions Manager. Job description: * Provide pension support, advice and guidance to managers and staff ensuring that legislative requirements are met and standards of good practice are maintained * Manage and support the complex pensions queries to ensure a compliant outcome * Responsible for ensuring that all statutory requirements in relation to pensions are met. * Responsible for resolving complex pension issues promptly and for keeping employees and managers informed of progress with dealing with pension queries and issues. * Undertake the calculation of a variety of payments (e.g. redundancy, Voluntary retirement / Exit) * Maintain accurate and timely pension input. * Establish and maintain pension records for scheme numbers and providing returns to pension providers in accordance with annual procedures. * Set up and maintain protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure that pension documentation is handled efficiently and confidentially, with electronic storage and archiving where required. * Actively seek customer feedback and act on any suggestions for improving the service. * Handle pension complaints positively and in liaison with the Payroll & Pensions Manager to resolve and respond to complaints promptly. * Provide team cover and assistance in other HR areas as required by the Payroll & Pensions Manager.
